1. So at first can you introduce your band, members and how you know each other?

When we are in the studio and when we are making songs Blå Brigader are just a two piece band, but when we play live we are four.  But the guys in the band are me (song and guitar) and Robban (drums) and we are childhood friends. Then we have Magnus on bass who is a workmate of mine, and Per who plays the guitar to. Magnus and Per just plays on the live shows.

2. When and why came decision to start Blå Brigader and why that name?
We didn’t start BB by our self so to speak because me and Robban played in a punk band at first, and we where friends way back with the guys in Ultima Thule so Uffe asked us to do two songs for and Carolus Rex record. We thought it could be fun so we did two songs with another singer. Then we did no more songs as BB, but then a few years later he asked us again and we recorded Nicopia and Medborgarsång this time I singed the songs myself. Then we did a record Sagan Kung o Tron and we have continued sins then. Uffe came upp with the name because we didn’t have any good ideas. I don’t really like the name cause our songs and lyrics don’t match up with the name.

3. Did any of your members play in any band before Blå Brigader?
All the members in BB have played in other bands before but just for fun we hav not released any records or so. And we play in other bands at the current time to. Me Robban and Magnus played in a band called Suicidial Six an had a few gigs in Nyköping. Per plays in No heroes in hell who have played many times at Kuggnäsfestivalen.

4. Your have three long albums and some songs on Carolus rex compilations, can you describe your sound, musical influences, themes of lyrics(it is difficult for us to undersand Swedish...)? And do you prefer CD or vinyl version of your album?

Its hard to talk about your own music but we like to play fast and do a lot of pace shifting in the songs, all the lyrics are about life from a working class point of view.  I try to describe the things I like and the things I don’t like in the songs. I prefer cd because I don’t have any vinyl player.

5. Who is responsible for making music and lyrics?
I do all the lyrics and most of the music with help from Robban , the way it works is I do songs at home and then bring them when we train, sometimes he changes things sometimes he don’t.

6. Your albums was released on Ultima Thule records....are you satisfied with cooperation with them?
Yes it works out good we have been friends for a long time so there’s no problem. We have so far done all of are recordings in their studio with Tomas Krohn as the engineer.

7. Can you describe the scene in your area, new bands worth hearing, pubs, clubs, crews zines etc...?
Except for Kuggnasfestivalen every year I would say the scene is dead here, maybe it’s better in Stockholm and Goteborg but I really don’t know I am not apart of it.

8. How many gigs do you have and do you like it to play live?
We maybe play 2-3 times a year so we are not playing often, in Sweden there are no gigs for our kind of music. But we like to play but iam sad to say we are getting old and don’t have so much time because of work, families and other stuff.

9. Where can we order your stuff like CD´s, T-shirts...etc..?
Are records and stuff can be bought at  www.noshame.se and Dimrecords.

10. What should we do to organise your gig? What are your requirements and what about playing live?
We don’t have any special demands to play the best thing to do is to contact us at Myspace.com/blabrigader.

11.Plans for the future?
We are currently doing nothing with BB and it could be that our last record will be the last forever.

12. Last words....

Thanks a lot and I am sorry for the bad English. And I hope life treats you good.
