Phil: I receive it today...pretty nice music, I like hard hitting Oi! sound like Tropel for example but this is faster...really good and also English translations of lyrics inside...cool stuff

I just asked Mr. 4Subculture if he could get that Bota Gasta EP. Thanks for telling me about that, mate. By the way, I think that this is Sledgehammer's Facebook page. They're still together, apparently. https://www.facebook.com/pages/%E9%90%B5%E6%A7%8C/250154681711406 Interview those guys? |

Peddy - there you go: http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=2794714&ev=rb Shuffle later became Sledgehammer. Or two of the members went on to be in that band, or something like that. Their sound is pretty close. The seller is legitimate - I bought something from him once. I think it's the guy that runs the label... Also, the R.I.P. album I was telling you about: http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=2272980&ev=rb it's a short album, but it's excellent. Was co-released with Cargo Records in Europe (I just looked at mine now). Just some suggestions for you. |

Yeah, I've got that on CD (in fact, I will get that out and play it now). The cover of that would make a nice t-shirt. Crawler have only recorded about 6 songs in 10 years. It's a shame. I'd recommend R.I.P. to you. One of their albums was released in Europe (might have been by Knock Out Records), so you should be able to get it quite easily. They've got one of the best bass players I've heard in oi! and they don't have a problem trying different things with their sound. |

Phil: I know and I have also some of the stuff from bands you mentioned like Bad Vultures, Kaiga or Miburo. Crawler is also really good band (here you can buy their EP http://www.adler-versand.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=6034&osCsid=99e653270db7c3826edb46d22bd48636).

Other good bands - Raise A Flag, Crawler, R.I.P., Miburo, Cockney Cocks, Bad Vultures, Kaiga, Shuffle, Discocks, The Solution, The Wanderers, Gruesome, Laiya, Snatcher. Just some that I can think of right now. All sorts of different types of sound, but all interesting. You should really check out Malaysian oi! too (I've probably said that before!) - some of that is amazing. As good as anything that ever came from Europe or the USA. Bronze Fist have a new CD out, I think (or I just saw it last week!). I think that these are two Malaysian bands, but I never heard of them. http://www.discogs.com/V-S-Honour-Firey-Jak-Songs-For-Hoolys/release/4262551 Actually, it was Bronze Fist compilations that first got me interested in Asian oi! |

Peddy - I don't think that it's morally wrong to go download their CDs (if you can find them), considering that they've been out of print for years and sometimes sell for €100+... Do you listen to any Japanese bands? |
