I remember that Ari/Arska or whatever his name is said (on YouTube comments on his vids) that he'd called his other band Skinboiss, because he wanted to see how many people would assume it meant 'Skinboi SS' and get annoyed with him, without listening to the lyrics. Also the skull+crossbones logo for the same reason. So, I suppose he might have also done this here. |

If you look at it closer, it's 4 arrows... http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=4061115 Are people just seeing a swastika where there wasn't even meant to be one? I don't know...  Nor do I know what 4 arrows connected together mean. |

Actually, my initial reaction was probably more like "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?!?" and an urge to toss my one KV CD out of the window.

Peddy - have you asked him what he thinks about furries? But seriously, did you ask him what the deal is with that big swastika on the front of the new Kalevalan Viikingit single? Someone mentioned that on here, I think (or someone was getting upset about it somewhere recently anyway). Kinda freaked me out when I saw it, I must admit. Not going to jump on, run my mouth and start accusing people of anything though - because I don't know the full story and I do remember from history lessons at school that Finland's military was using the swastika long (was it hundreds of years?) before anyone even knew of the Nazis and it might be that it has a different meaning still in a different culture. But it doesn't look good to see that on the front of something by a skinhead band. I'm also sure that KV have already been added to several people's bad-lists by now...
