Peddy - have you heard Ten Beers After? I was listening to their album today. Pretty good stuff, I think. Most of those Rebellion Records 'oi! collectors series' digipaks have been really good - Wouter Davids has a good ear. No Man's Land = Indonesia's loudest band Also - putting things like Blood Red Eagle or IC1 on an oi! site just works to make oi! look bad, in my opinion. |

Happy 100th review. I don't usually post here except for to complain, and maybe I should do more of that often to praise your works. Just make youself a New year resolution not to review or advertise any more racist or national socialist shit on your site, hey? I know that people just send u free stuff to review it, but I think that with this, you should tell them to shove it back up there asses. Because I do otherwise really like your website and find it one of the more useful oi websites. |

If you're a band, it's hard to know what to do in that situation though, I suppose. If there's a load of people climbing on the stage for a sing along and one of them happens to be a notorious member of the far-right, who they might not even have known was at the gig anyway. Not saying that's what happened either. I don't actually know. But for people doing Hitler salutes at gigs, it wouldn't take many of the big bands to say "if we see anyone doing Hitler salutes, we're walking off and we're not coming back - and if you want to know why the night was spoiled for everyone, go ask the Hitler saluting guys" - and actually do that, before the crowd started taking care of itself in that regard. Motorhead say that about people who throw bottles, coins and lighters at the stage (or spit on Lemmy when he's at the front) - and it seems to work. |

Stabber - I heard about that, but I hadn't seen the video myself. I don't actually know what Ken McLellan looks like - but I think that this video coming out is what fucked the band. I know that people were getting really angry about it on the internet. I think they broke up soon after. Maybe. Never really cared much for the reformed 4-Skins anyway. |
