I never really understood guys who are from a country that fought against Germany and had lots and lots of people who died in WWII who say that they're proud patriots, yet also say that they like listening to neo-Nazi, Hitler-love bands. Yeah, it's only music and all that and people listen to all sorts of things that they might not agree with politically. Just strikes me as strange. Being a Nazi is what makes someone a Nazi - not owning some dodgy RAC records, but yeah. *IF* any of that stuff below is true (I don't know - I only heard about 3 of these bands when I read about the Werewolves album) then that's really bad and to be honest, people *should* be standing up against it and letting them know that it's unacceptable. Venganza Tatuada do still have the Totenkopf-SS on their MySpace when I looked now. It's bad enough when Strong Style in Japan put that shit on the front of one of their records because they think it looks cool and tough, but a USA band doing it is just dodgy as hell, IMO. It's hard to say that the Antifa guys are making a fuss over nothing when you see that. Also part of this crew is Division Uruguay, whose Myspace "About Me" section translates to "Death to Jews Sons of Whore And those Whore Communists" (the Spanish from their Myspace page is "MUERTE A LOS JUDIOS HIJOS DE PUTA Y A LOS PUTOS COMUNISTAS!!!") Venganza Tatuada is close with this band, as evidenced by the fact that Division Uruguay lists them as their second top friend on the social networking site. Further, Venganza Tatuada has placed an advertisment for Saturday's show at Otto's Shrunken Head on Division Uruguay's page. This is clear evidence that they share Division Uruguay's anti-semitic politics and are trying hard to draw similar people with the same anti-Semitic and fascist politics to Saturday's show by advertising to Division Uruguay's fans. Combate 49's Myspace profiles are full of hateful comments from friends and fans. Another band - sangre x sangre - posted "88", a traditional neo-Nazi greeting on their profile, followed by telling Combate 49 that they are also anti-communist and anti-zionist (which in the case of neo-Nazis is a nicer way of saying anti-Jewish)." It is hard to know sometimes with these ANTIFAS guys whether they are complaining about something for a good reason, or whether they heard a false rumor that upset them, or whether they're getting upset over a misunderstanding, or a mix of every thing - but sometimes they are right in what they say. VENGANZA TATUADA have the logo of the WAFFEN SS TOTENKOPF on their MySpace page by the way. https://www.myspace.com/venganzatatuada COMBATE 49 did a split with a real Nazi band too, also with WAFFEN SS TOTENKOPF logo skull on it thespiritofyesterdayoi.blogspot.com/2010/10/fighting-84-combat-49.html I don't know about the First Strike. I did think that they had 2 black guys in the band and were friends to The Templars and Oxblood. And the other two bands have Hispanics people in them, but that doesn't mean that only white people can be Nazis. It is very strange. After all, this isn't about bands not liking anarchos or the reds and their views, or singing about loving there countrys. Theres a difference to that and being a real Nazi, I believe. I do not know what to think here but I thought you might like to know about it for your web page PEDDY. There are also lots of other web sites saying things about these bands. It is worrying. |

I only heard about it because I looked at the new oi! releases being added to discogs.com - I don't think that it's even been announced anywhere else. It's not even mentioned on the band's Facebook.
