1. So at first can you introduce your band,
members (age, hobbies, work...) and tell us how you met each other?
Damiano, 33, i do
screenprinting and play guitar. Francesco, 36 years and a half bottle of rum.
Mattia, 32 years old, worker and drummer. Gianluca, 26, warehouseman, bass
player.
2. You played in bands like Colonna Infame or
Payback, why did you start Dead End Street and why did you choose that name.
Damiano: 4 Years ago i moved from Rome to Toscana, i always had many good
friends in Florence and always wanted to put up a streetrock band, so after a
while i was jammin' in a reharsal room. I always liked the name "Dead End
Street", don't know why, but it fits.
3. Your debut s/t EP was released on
Aggrobeat/Hellnation...can you told us about cooperation with those labels?
Damiano: Roberto from Hellnation (Rome) is one of my best friends, he helped me
out so many times and produced all my projects, i couldn't do this without him!
But we were also looking for another label who could help us in Europe, i
traded some records with Paul from Aggrobeat, i asked him, i heard some songs
and he said "Ok, let's do it!". We want to thank both labels for
helping us! Straight from the heart!
Francesco: Roberto and Paul are doing a great job, without them there
couldn't be any record, or interest for the band like this for sure, thanx!
4. Can you introduce your EP to people who
didn´t know you?
Damiano: Well,
it's 4 chords street rock, rough and melodic at the same time.
Francesco: It's
as good as having lampredotto and red wine at noon !

of The Corps, Rose Tattoo and Discipline for me...what are your musical
influences?
Damiano: I listen to so many
different kind of music, obviously a lot of punk rock, Oi! and punk/hc, but

Mattia: I also listen to a lot
of different stuff ....punk rock, oi!, blues, soul, r'n'b, garage punk, beat, surf....and

6. Do you prefer older or new breed bands?
Damiano: I don't think it's a
matter of time, if the music you listen makes you move your feet, it's good
stuff!
Francesco: I
prefer good bands.
7. Are you preparing an full album and will it
be out as LP or CD?
Damiano: We'll record some new
songs very soon, but we don't know exactly what we'll do...we're looking for
another band, maybe a split 7"?

from Psycho tattoo, can you tell us some more about it?
